Strike FC Wisconsin - Registration

Welcome to the registration process for Strike FC Wisconsin!

Welcome to Strike FC Wisconsin!

Recreational Program

Strike FC Wisconsin is pleased to offer one of the more comprehensive recreational soccer programs in southeastern Wisconsin.  Our program is run regionally with our training and playing facilities located in the Lake Country/Arrowhead, Kettle Moraine, and Oconomowoc areas.  Teams are formed within those regions and their practices will be within those regions whenever possible.   Above U6 age group the game schedule may involve travel between the 3 geographical areas.

The following 3 concepts are Strike FC Wisconsin's focus in regards to its recreational offering:

1) Participation

2) Soccer Skills

3) Sportsmanship

The club keeps no records in regards to wins/losses at any of our traditional recreational age groups and has no interest in changing that in the future. Playing time is THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT of recreational soccer!  The focus is on providing children the opportunity to participate in the world’s game: soccer.

Within the recreational program there is a component of player development and identification for those players that may want to eventually play at the Academy or Select level.  In order to achieve this the club provides both coaching clinics and occasional professional coaching at certain age groups to build soccer skills.  This is also done through camps and clinics offered by Strike FC Wisconsin.

Finally, at all age groups, sportsmanship is required and there is no tolerance for poor behavior towards opponents, referees, or spectators encountered during competition.  Recreational soccer is here for the kids to learn and enjoy the game of soccer while also learning other great skills such as hard work, dedication, and teamwork.

Strike FC Wisconsin offers the following recreational soccer programs:

• Strike FC Wisconsin offers recreational soccer from U5 through U14/15.

• We offer recreational soccer for U5 and U6 players that want to get started on soccer at an early age.

• We offer an Academy Team program for U7/8, U9, and U10 players looking for a higher level of soccer training earlier than the U11 Select age.

Strike FC Junior Developmental Academy Program

Offered to players U7-U10, the JDA focuses on the development of fundamental/technical skills while engaging players in a more competitive environment. Staff coaches are licensed coaches and provided with a curriculum that sets players on a development path that prepares them to become successful select soccer players. The JDA program, through its initiatives, works in concert with the select program, coaches, and directors to provide a seamless transition from the JDA to select soccer. The JDA is recognized as an Accredited Academy by the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA), having demonstrated "Best Practices" for developing top-level players in this age range.

Teams train twice per week in season and throughout the winter, and participate in the YWSA Academy league in Southeastern Wisconsin. Teams may also participate in two tournaments in the fall and spring season (additional costs may apply to registration fee). Strike FC hosts a fall tournament which is includedin registration fees.

Strike FC Wisconsin Select Soccer Program

Strike FC Wisconsin is pleased to offer one of the finest Select programs in the Midwest.  Our Select teams traditionally play at the highest levels in Wisconsin and in leagues that span the Midwest.  Our coaching staff has one of the strongest records in the region in regards to professional licensing and results for both players and teams.  Our philosophy in Select is focused by age group.

U11, U12
The focus in these early Select years is Ball Mastery / Technical skills. The goal is to develop key skills such as juggling, settling, dribbling and trapping the ball such that a player can control the ball and the game. Our players learn various technical skills so that they can be confident in taking on 1 or more defenders at a time and both maintaining control of the ball and attacking the goal. Creativity and confidence are encouraged through small sided game play and a focus on building the skills of each individual player.  Our teams participate in both the Wisconsin Developmental Academy (WDA) and other Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) leagues.  All Select rosters will be chosen based on player evaluations at tryouts and practice sites are then determined based on availability of coaches, appropriate field conditions (including lighting), level of play of the team, and roster make-up.

U13 and U14
The game moves to full sided at this point and thus additional technical and furth introduction of tactical skills are added to the Ball Mastery basics. A greater focus on passing, movement without the ball, field positioning, and finishing is added to the training curriculum. Training sessions designed for teaching specific positional play are part of the curriculum. A stronger focus on the team moving in unison and communicating on the field is also added.  All Select teams are formed based on player evaluations at tryouts and practice sites are then determined based on availability of coaches, appropriate field conditions (including lighting), level of play of theteam, and roster make-up.

U15 – U19
At this level the focus is continuing to maintain and enhance the technical foundation while focusing on team formations and tactics for both defending and attacking. Fine tuning dribbling, passing, and finishing remain a key piece of the curriculum. Significant time is spent preparing for situations such as transition in play, free kicks and corner kicks to both create scoring opportunities while on the attack and to prevent scoring by the opposition. The curriculum continues to build on the team tactics introduced at U13 and U14 to refine team play.  All Select teams are formed based on player evaluations at tryouts and practice sites are then determined based on availability of coaches, appropriate field conditions (including lighting), level of play of theteam, and roster make-up.
